I love persimmons. They are known for their extraordinary taste and nutritional qualities. I always have snacks and water when I travel. I put several pieces dried persimmons in plastic bags for to-go-snacks. Will order again this brand Food for Thought. Delicious!
I have fairly recently renewed my relationship with persimmons. I would see them growing wild as a child and it was a treat to find a ripe one before the deer got to them. Found some sold at a local market and remembered how much I enjoyed them. They are seasonal however and I can only find them fresh in the Nov-Dec timeframe. I came across Fruit for Thought when I did a search to see if dried persimmons were offered online. What a great snack! I can’t recommend them enough! They are mildly sweet and very flavorful and if you enjoy fresh persimmons you will not be disappointed with this product. The slices of fruit in each bag are of varying size but they are all of very good quality. I have probably gone through six or eight bags of these over the last year. Guess it’s ok however since they are a pretty healthy snack. Anyway, as I said earlier, I really can’t recommend Fruit for Thought dried Hachiya Persimmons enough! They’re delicious right out of the bag.

Perfect way to enjoy Hachiya persimmons. Healthy, sweet with a soft chewy texture. Best dried fruit choice for flavor and nutrition. Great on the go snack for kids and adults.
Arrived in tact. I knew from the instant I unzipped the plastic that my teeth would rejoice as they tore into these fruitlings. Dont feed to any cats under the deck, though they will ponderously beg.
Freeze dried persimmon fruit wafers. Let it melt in your mouth and it returns to its original consistency and bears a wonderful sweetness of the fruit. Persimmons are known to have health benefits according to the Japanese. It's too bad it's not more popular here in the USA.
The dried persimmons are great! Pure persimmon flavor shines through without all the sugar so often added to dried fruit. The chewy texture is just right, not dried out and hard, but a satisfying chew. Highly recommend.
Fruit For Thought turns persimmons into slices of natural candy. Other brands are okay, but I've not found better taste nor better value available on Amazon. I've reordered this product many times, and always been delighted with it.

I accidentally ordered two 2-packs and was mad at myself at first. But then I tried the dried slices of persimmon and became happy I bought so much! I don't like very sweet things and these are just the right amount of sweetness. The remind me a bit of dried jackfruit, but with more flavor, reminiscent of Juicyfruit gum. The texture of the pack I opened is perfect, with a firm dense texture, not overly dry or tough at all.
If you're anything like me, paying $25 for 2 twelve ounce bags of dried fruit seems crazy, but you should do it! These are amazing! So delicious and the bags are huge! The bag itself is 11x7x3.5, I was shocked! SO glad I found this wonderful treat!

Liked the flavor but the edges where the peel(?) would be were extra hard. I ended up biting wrong on one of the pieces and hurt my mouth. Was careful after that. Other than that I was happy with what I got.
It has a wonderful taste, not overly sweet. It's chewy and not overly dry. The cost is the only problem. Quite expensive.

I made Sujeonggwa (Korean fruit punch) with bag of these came out decent considering dried fruit are not the best choice to make it. They have decent flavor on their own and well preserved.
I can eat 12 ozs of this at one sitting!

If you like persimmons, get these. So good! At first touch I was reluctant to eat it because it feels really hard but it’s not. You still have to bite but not hard. It’s also not extremely chewy either, which I really like. You can still taste the persimmon too. Even if you don’t like persimmons give it’s try. The only ingredient is persimmon. No added sugars, no sodium, no fat. A very healthy snack!Also if you are expecting dried persimmons that you find in Asian stores, this is not it. It’s cut thin so not meaty but it still is very good.
I love persimmons. These are tasty, easy to eat, and not too dried. These are great for snacking. However, I can't stop at just a few. I ended up finishing the bag in two days.I decided to buy these monthly for a constant supply for snacking.
The contents are obvious - dried persimmons. They are exactly that - full slices, not little pieces. Properly dried and preserved. Tasty. The resealable bags are pretty impressively thick and useful. This one stays on our "get some more" list.Update - After consuming the first of two packages, ordered another pair. Not going to run out. Consistent packaging and predicable product. Will probably set up a subscription as soon as I figure out consumption rates.

I love persimmons and the high fiber they add to your diet. When fresh persimmons are not available this product is a great alternative. Will definitely order again.
