Favorite Hikes in the Bay Area

Making a must-do list for spring? Our company is located in the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area and our staff made a list of our favorite nearby hikes! The Bay Area is known for being the center of the tech world but we also have numerous outdoor activities. Here are a few hikes that will make you appreciate the Bay Area even more!

Mori Point:

Mori Point is located in Pacifica, California. People love this hiking park for the views! It's on a bluff next to the Pacific Ocean and shows off breathtaking views of the peninsula coastline. You can bring the dog, too!

Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park:

Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park is located in the Santa Cruz Mountains and is famous for the 40-acre grove of towering old-growth redwood trees! This park is full of trails that lead to views of the ocean and redwood forests.

Lands End:

The Coastal Trail at Lands End in San Francisco is a gorgeous spot for walking and has access to hidden beaches! This is a great spot to bring your family.

Mount Tamalpais State Park:

North of the Golden Gate Bridge, Mount Tamalpais is the ideal place to go if you want to hike in the redwoods and see spectacular views of the bay. Mt. Tam has a 2,571-foot peak with 35 moderate trails to explore!

Tennessee Valley to Muir Beach:

This longer 9.7 mile out and back hike is located in Marin Country, and is worth the effort! Here you will get views of green hills on one side and the rocky northern California coastline on the other. Once you make it down to the bottom at Muir Beach, take a break for lunch.

Remember to follow the health and safety guidelines in each county and have fun!
